Roo
Colorado Elopement Videographer

Roo is an Emmy nominated filmmaker and photographer based in Boulder, Colorado but travels all around the world for his filmmaking career. Yes, you read that right. He has directed documentaries for Patagonia in California, produced films for Outside Magazine throughout Europe and Africa, camera operated for Netflix in the Rocky Mountain West, photographed among indigenous communities in South America, and has received notable recognition in his hometown of Orcas Island in Washington State for his work telling uplifting stories in the outdoor space.
Roo began his love for filmmaking by creating elopements films and while he’s found mainstream success in the film industry, he still returns back to capture these love stories that mean so much to him.
Mallory

she/her/hers
Mallory is originally from Ohio and was raised with a love of the outdoors instilled in her. Growing up, she loved playing in the creek behind her house with her brother and friends. Now, her curiosity for seeing all the wonder nature has to offer makes her an excellent guide to finding precious nooks and crannies of Colorado.
She has an extensive background in planning events- from Soup Sunday dinner parties to five-day nonprofit conferences to local film screenings- she knows how to help whip up a mighty good time. Hand her a camera and she’s thrilled to capture the beautiful moments that come from people together in the great outdoors!
Mallory is always down to get outside and enjoys most outdoor activities (she’ll try anything once, y’all!), especially alongside her pup, Reina, and her partner, Roo! She also is a big fan of cold brew coffee (her caffeine intake is unmatched), knitting, creating stained glass art, and baking delicious vegan desserts.
