Castlehouse videography’s 2025 environmental pledges

not only are we videographers & photographers, but environmentalists too!

We try our best to keep the outside places we play beautiful and available to everybody. There are a myriad of actions individuals can take to ensure the outdoors is a place that we can all enjoy and soak in the beauty of. For us here at Castlehouse, we’ve narrowed it down to three overarching pledges...

pledge one: following leave no trace principles

It’s cliche, but we do our best to take only photos & videos and leave only footprints. This includes packing out anything we brought outside with us and not making a mess in mother earth’s home.

pledge two: sticking to the trails

Ecosystems are precious and although nature is resilient, we stay on trails to not crush any magic happening in the forest. Hard work was put into the vast trail systems we have here in Colorado and we use them to ensure everyone can revel in the surroundings with a smaller impact on the flora we have the privilege of basking in.

PLedge three: minimizing emissions

By capturing elopements only in Colorado, we are not only the best local guides for your elopement, but we also save on travel emissions for elopements. Typically, we aren’t driving more than four hours to film an elopement, and when we do go, we drive together! We also aim to drive at cooler parts of the day.

As a small business, it’s important to include our values in everything we do! It’s our goal to contribute to the good of the world in more ways than one (epic elopement content).

As people, we continue to donate our time and money to local organizations that are making a difference in communities and supporting the outdoors.

Being outside is something we never want to take for granted and there has never been a more crucial time to take action (in any way you’re able) and be an advocate for the earth~

We’re certainly not perfect, but we do our best!

Thank y’all for always getting us out there & for recreating responsibly with us!
