PHONE CALL
Developing a solid connection and relationship with the couples we work with is incredibly important to us and a big part of how we all create beautiful videos together. This phone call is NOT A SALES CALL! When you get on a phone with somebody who is going to be at your wedding you want it to be about getting to know each other right? That’s exactly what this phone call is all about. I want to hear about all about you two, your love story, what you love to do together. I’ll share a bit about myself and my hobbies, and of course, talk about the epic elopement film we can potentially make together here in Colorado.
PROPOSAL
After the phone call we will both have a good idea if we’re a right fit for each other and, if we are, then the proposal comes next. This is a document that outlines the specific package you’re thinking about, the contract and payment schedule. You’ll be able to view it all online and once you’re ready to book, just fill it out and it will be electronically transferred over :) If you have any questions or concerns during this stage of the process, we will be right here for you to help you make the best decision for your elopement day.
LOCKING IN YOUR spot!
We only accept a very limited amount of bookings per year. We typically cap it at 2 couples per month so we can devote our full attention and energy into creating an experience that is right for you! Because of this, it’s important to lock in your spot as soon as possible to prevent somebody else from taking up one of those two spots a month. To secure your booking with us we require a 50% deposit and the completion of the proposal document that’s mentioned above. Once that’s done, you’re fully locked in and we can get started on planning out this epic elopement film for you!!
RELAXATION PERIOD
Congratulations! You’ve reached the moment where you can just settle in and rest in the fact that you have us locked in. After securing your spot, we’ll be here for any questions you have about the elopement experience (location, what to bring, what time of day is best, etc.) but we will leave you to have your fun together. It’s important to have your engagement not revolve around planning your wedding, it should be about spending quality time together. For that reason, you won’t be hearing a whole lot from us up until about 2 months before the elopement day.
STORYTELLING STRATEGY SESSION
If you were interested in the “Journey Film Collection” or “Explorer Film Collection”, this is for you! About 2 months before the elopement we will schedule a call with you to get to know you even better. We’re storytellers and we can’t tell your story without knowing your story. So, this strategy session will consist of us sitting down either in-person or over Zoom and chatting about your love story. This way, we can really feel like old friends and we know all the shots, lighting tricks, angles, and small moments to capture to help create a film that leaves a legacy - that tells your story.
ELOPEMENT DAY!!
The big day is finally here and we couldn’t be more excited! All the planning and logistics that came before today are set in place for you to just unwind, relax and focus on the marriage. By stripping away the complexities of a big wedding, you get to focus on what matters… your love to one another. And you better believe that we’ll be there loving every. single. minute of it.
When you fly away in the helicopter at the end of the day or we return back to trailhead to say our goodbyes you’ll have a peace in your heart not because of Castlehouse Videography being the best elopement videography choice, but because you were supported in every step of your engagement journey.
Now, just give us some time to work our movie magic in the editing room so you get to relive that dreamy day over and over and over again! We typically deliver our films 1-2 months after the elopement day.
