Eloping at sunrise has a lot of mixed reviews. For some, it’s their worst nightmare. Getting up at 4 am to get hair and makeup done then drive to the trailhead in the dark can be too much for your wedding day. But for Krystal and Josh, this was their idea of heaven. Being able to be in the mountains and watch the sun rise over the peaks during their elopement was incredible. Sure, it’s early but then you have the whole day ahead of you for some awesome adventures around the mountains. Krystal and Josh hiked out a beautiful picnic, wedding cake (for breakfast) and made some whiskey during their ceremony. It’s those little touches that really elevate these experiences on your elopement day. Reading letters, having picnics, going on hikes, and pursuing things you love to do together on your wedding day is what we really advocate for strongly here at Castlehouse. It’s not about the pictures or the videos, it’s about the experience.
