Jeneva and Leon’s stunning elopement just outside Boulder was a day filled with love, adventure, and heartfelt moments that we’ll never forget. From the moment we met Jeneva and Leon, it was clear that their bond was something special. Their story is one of faith, strength, and partnership, and it was such an honor to capture the start of this new chapter in their lives.
The day began with a dark drive up to the trailhead about an hour west of Boulder. As we walked, the sound of a gentle breeze and the golden hues of early morning light welcomed the day. Once we arrived at the overlook, they changed into their wedding attire and exchanged vows just after the sun rose. Leon promised to love Jeneva selflessly and protect her with unwavering dedication, while Jeneva spoke words of gratitude and respect, vowing to walk with Leon through every adventure, easy or hard. Their vows reflected their deep faith and the solid foundation they’ve built together - a foundation grounded in love and a shared purpose.
After their ceremony, we took a short hike to a gorgeous overlook where the golden light bathed the landscape in warmth. Jeneva and Leon shared a quiet moment together, taking in the view and savoring the magnitude of their day on their picnic blanket as they enjoyed scones. As they laughed, held hands, and reflected on their relationship journey, it was clear that this was more than just a wedding - it was the beginning of a lifetime of shared adventures.
We aimed to capture every detail of their special experience in the mountains: the tenderness of Leon adjusting Jeneva’s dress as they walked along the trail, the joy in their eyes as they danced under the open sky, and the way the sun dipped just behind the mountains as they embraced for one final shot of the day.
